Hello everyone,
I am happy to announce my dedication to a new path in my professional career. I had spent the 12 years as an English language teacher in Madrid, Spain and the last 2 of those years building up my own language service business. The little progess I had made was cut short in March 2020. The last year with Covid and the loss of my mother to cancer has been life changing personally and professionally. I took the time off and applied my mind to a substantial problem. You might say it was an existential crisis. In short, have gone through a tranformation over the past year into a Python developer in Data Science/Analytics. The skills I have learned relate to the general field of Data, such as Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
The remaining content on this site concerning my previous work as an English teacher will be phased out. I’ll make some superficial changes to the look of the page but — as a starting place form my own adventures and musings in the field of Data — this page will serve me well to track my progress, explain new topics learned, and give me an online presence to share with others.
Enjoy the content to all who are interested. The topics will be much more technical but the style will still be engaging, as always.
